Booked the Eco Essential fare from Paris to Casablanca thinking I could check a bag for free. At the airport I found out Eco Essential includes zero checked bags on European routes and buying one cost 70 euros. Next time I will pay a little more for Eco Classic so the 23 kg bag is included up front.

Flew Royal Air Maroc Business class from London to Marrakech and really appreciated the 12 kg carry-on limit plus a 2 kg personal item. My laptop bag counted as the personal item and my 11 kg roller bag went in the overhead bin without any issue. Boarding was smooth and the staff never weighed anything.
Travelled from Casablanca to Lagos in Economy and was happy that two checked bags of 23 kg each were included on the African route. The allowance is more generous than European flights where you only get one bag. Just remember to stay under 203 cm linear per suitcase or you pay the oversized fee.
Flew from Casablanca to Madrid in Economy. They actually measured my personal item at the boarding gate to make sure it fit under the seat. My bag was 42 x 32 x 18 cm which is over the 40 x 30 x 15 cm limit, so they made me put it in the overhead bin with my carry-on. Luckily it still fit and I did not have to check it.
