Recent Traveller Feedback
Flew Air Cairo from Cairo to Luxor in economy class. Had one checked bag at 22 kg which was well under the 23 kg limit. Check-in at Cairo airport was quick and nobody asked about the weight. The 158 cm linear size is standard and my regular suitcase fit easily.
Travelled from Hurghada to Cairo with a cabin bag weighing 7.5 kg. At the gate they had a scale and weighed every bag. I had to take out a book and a water bottle to get under 7 kg before they let me board. The 55 x 40 x 23 cm sizer was also there so make sure your bag fits.
Flew with my 10 month old from Sharm el-Sheikh to Cairo. Checked our full-size stroller at the ticket counter for free. The agent told us infants also get one checked bag up to 10 kg plus the stroller. We also carried on a baby bag with food and bottles which was no problem.
Flew Air Cairo from Cairo to Vienna in economy. My checked bag weighed 28 kg and I was worried it would be overweight, but the agent said the allowance is 30 kg on international routes from Cairo. The 62 inch linear size limit is the same as domestic flights. Bag arrived safely in Vienna.
