Flew GOL from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro on the Basic fare. Only brought a backpack weighing about 8 kg and it fit under the seat no problem. No carry-on included with Basic so I packed light. Quick flight and no issues at boarding.
Booked the Light fare to Buenos Aires and needed to check a bag. Added it online 3 days before departure which was cheaper than at the airport. 23 kg checked bag, paid extra. Next time I'll just get the Classic fare if I need luggage.
