Departed Muscat International Airport on a morning flight. Security follows the standard international 100 ml liquid rule for carry on luggage. I kept my toiletries in a clear plastic bag and they went through the security checkpoint with no issues at all.
Booked Comfort fare for my flight from Muscat to London Heathrow. Thirty kilograms of checked baggage was included and my two bags totalled 28 kg so I stayed well within the allowance. Both arrived safely at LHR and the transfer through Muscat was very convenient.
Flew Oman Air economy from Muscat to Dubai. My single carry-on bag was around 6.5 kg and fit easily within the 115 cm linear limit. They did not weigh bags at the gate at MCT but security did a thorough check of all hand luggage. Boarding was smooth and the cabin crew were very welcoming.
