Recent Traveller Feedback
Departed KL International Airport on an afternoon flight to Penang. Security follows the standard 100 ml liquid rule for carry on luggage. I had my travel toiletries in a clear plastic bag and they went through security without any problems. Duty free items purchased after security are fine as long as they stay sealed with the receipt.
Booked the Flex fare from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok and had one 22 kg checked bag included. Business class passengers get two bags up to 32 kg each which is very generous. Check in at KUL Terminal 1 was smooth and my bag arrived on the carousel at BKK within fifteen minutes of landing.
Flew Malaysia Airlines from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore in economy class. My 7 kg carry-on measured 56 cm and fit easily in the overhead bin on the Boeing 737. I also brought a small laptop bag and the combined weight stayed under the 7 kg limit. Staff at KUL were professional and did not weigh any bags at the gate.
