Departed Luxembourg Findel Airport on a morning flight to Rome. Security follows the standard 100 ml liquid rule for carry on luggage just like everywhere else in the EU. I had my travel toiletries in a clear plastic bag and they went through quickly. Duty free items are fine as long as they stay sealed with the original receipt.
Booked the Smart fare from Luxembourg to Lisbon and had one 22 kg checked bag included. The Light fare would have been cheaper but it comes with zero free checked bags so Smart was definitely the better choice for me. Business class passengers get two bags up to 32 kg each which is quite generous.
Flew Luxair from Luxembourg to Berlin in economy class. My 8 kg carry-on measured 55 cm and fit easily in the overhead bin. I also brought a small laptop bag as my personal item and nobody said anything about it. Staff at LUX were friendly and did not weigh any bags at the gate.
