Transited through Kuwait International Airport on my way to Istanbul. Security follows the standard 100 ml liquid rule for carry-on. I had my toiletries in a clear plastic bag and they went through without any issues. Duty free purchases are allowed as long as they are sealed in the bag with the receipt. Overall a smooth experience at KWI.
Booked an economy saver ticket to London and only had one 30 kg bag included. At check-in they said it was within the 32 kg saver allowance so no extra fee. If you fly on the regular economy fare you get two bags at 23 kg each instead. Good to know the difference before booking since saver can be cheaper if you pack heavy.
Flew Kuwait Airways from Kuwait City to Dubai in economy class. My carry-on weighed about 6.5 kg and nobody checked the weight at the gate. The 56 cm bag fit easily in the overhead bin. Staff at KWI are pretty relaxed about hand luggage as long as it looks reasonable and not obviously overstuffed.
