Recent Traveller Feedback
Flew Tel Aviv to London with El Al in Classic economy. They have sizers at the gate and my bag was exactly 56 × 45 × 25 cm so it passed. The 8 kg weight limit was checked at check-in and they are fairly strict about it.
My laptop bag was 30 × 38 × 18 cm as per the official rules. No issues at all, they did not measure it. Just make sure it fits under the seat in front of you.
Booked a Lite fare to Europe by mistake. Zero free checked bag and they gate-check your carry-on for free at boarding. Upgraded to Classic at the airport for the extra allowance.
