Frequently Asked Questions

What is Corendon Airlines' carry-on baggage policy?

On the Eco fare, you can bring one small underseat bag measuring 40 x 30 x 20 centimetres and weighing up to 4 kilograms, plus one cabin bag measuring 55 x 40 x 25 centimetres and weighing up to 10 kilograms.
The Promo and Lite fares only include the personal item under the seat with no cabin bag included at all.
Flex and Premium fares include both the personal item and the cabin bag just like the Eco fare, with the same size and weight limits.
If your cabin bag is too big or too heavy at the gate, you will be charged an 80 euro fee to put it in the hold.

How much does extra baggage cost on Corendon Airlines?

You can add checked baggage online before your flight at prices starting from 40 euros for 15 kilograms up to 80 euros for 32 kilograms, depending on your route and fare type.
Flights to Egypt and Spain count as long distance routes and cost a bit more than medium distance routes.
If you wait until you get to the airport, a 20 kilogram bag costs 80 euros for all fare types, which is much more expensive than booking online ahead of time.
Any bag over 158 centimetres total size is considered oversized and costs a flat fee of 50 euros on top of the regular baggage charge.

What is the gate fee for carry-on bags on Corendon Airlines?

If you try to bring a cabin bag that is not included in your fare, or one that exceeds the size or weight limit, you will be charged 80 euros at the boarding gate.
This gate fee applies to all fare types and is much higher than adding baggage online ahead of time.
The gate staff use a size sizer frame to check if your bag fits within the 55 x 40 x 25 centimetre limit.
Promo and Lite fare passengers should be especially careful since those fares do not include a cabin bag at all.

Does Corendon Airlines offer a student discount on baggage?

Corendon Airlines does not currently offer a separate student discount on baggage fees.
The cheapest way to save on baggage is to book it online during the initial booking process, since prices go up the closer you get to your departure date.
Promo and Lite fares are the cheapest base fares, but you have to pay extra for any cabin bag or checked baggage, so it can end up costing more if you need to bring bags.
Always compare the total cost including baggage before choosing the cheapest fare to make sure you are getting the best deal.

How much baggage can I bring when flying with an infant on Corendon?

Infants under 2 years old get 10 kilograms of checked baggage allowance on all Corendon Airlines flights.
Babies do not get a separate hand luggage allowance, but you can bring one diaper bag with baby food and nappies as long as it fits within the standard hand luggage dimensions.
You can also check one foldable stroller or one infant car seat completely free per baby, and you can take it all the way to the aircraft door before boarding.
A second stroller, car seat, or travel cot will have its weight deducted from the adult baggage allowance rather than being free.

Is it cheaper to buy Corendon baggage online or at the airport?

Buying baggage online is always much cheaper than paying at the airport.
A 20 kilogram bag costs around 50 to 65 euros online depending on your route, while the same 20 kilogram bag costs 80 euros at the airport counter.
The gate fee for an oversized or unallowed carry-on bag is also 80 euros, which is far more than adding a cabin bag online for just 10 euros on the Promo fare.
Prices go up the closer you get to your departure date, so booking early gives you the best deal.
