I forgot to add checked baggage when I booked my Corendon flight to Hurghada on the Eco fare. When I got to the airport I had to pay 80 euros for a 20 kg bag. The check-in agent told me it would have been much cheaper if I had added it online during booking, around 50 euros for the same weight. Next time I will definitely add baggage ahead of time to save money. The line at the baggage counter was also really long.

I booked the cheapest Promo fare for my flight from Amsterdam to Antalya and thought I could bring a small rolling carry-on along with my backpack. At the gate they stopped me and said the Promo fare only allows one personal item under the seat. I had to pay 80 euros right there to put it in the hold. It was way more than if I had just upgraded to Eco fare online ahead of time. Now I always double check the baggage allowance before booking and never assume a carry-on is included.

We traveled with our 7 month old baby on Corendon to Side, Turkey. We took our foldable stroller all the way to the aircraft door and they checked it for free. It did not count toward our baggage allowance at all. They also let us bring a diaper bag on board with baby food and bottles. The staff were very helpful with families.
