Flew Air India from Delhi to Mumbai on a Classic fare. My carry-on bag weighed about 8 kg, just over the 7 kg limit. At the gate, they weighed it and made me check it in for an extra charge. The bag was 55 x 40 x 20 cm which was fine for size, but the weight was the issue. Ended up paying INR 3000 at the gate. Next time I will pack lighter or upgrade to Flex fare for more checked baggage.

Flew Air India from Delhi to Dubai. Standard 100 ml liquid rule at security, all toiletries in the clear plastic bag. Security line moved quickly. Duty-free alcohol bought after security was fine as long as it was sealed with the receipt. No issues with my carry-on liquids. Just remember the 7 kg weight limit for the cabin bag, it is enforced at Indian airports.
