What is the carry-on size and weight limit on Air France?

Air France economy passengers can bring one cabin bag plus one small bag such as a handbag, and both items together have a combined total weight limit of 12 kg or 26.4 lb.
The cabin bag must measure no more than 55 x 35 x 25 cm or 21.7 x 13.8 x 9.9 inches including wheels, handles and pockets, and size checks are done before boarding.
The small bag must fit under the seat in front of you and can measure up to 40 x 30 x 15 cm or 16 x 12 x 6 inches.

Does the Air France Basic fare include a cabin bag?

No, the Basic fare includes only one small under-seat bag of 40 x 30 x 15 cm - no cabin bag for the overhead bin is included.
You can add a Hand Baggage option when booking, later in My Bookings up to 4 hours before departure, or at the airport counter.
Flying Blue Gold members and above can bring a cabin bag free of charge even on a Basic fare.

How much free checked baggage do I get on Air France economy?

It depends on the fare you book, because Air France sells economy tickets with very different baggage allowances.
Basic and Light fares include no free checked bag, while the Standard economy fare includes one bag up to 23 kg or 50 lb.
Every checked bag must stay within 158 cm or 62.2 inches in total linear dimensions including wheels and handles.

Do Premium and Business class get more carry-on baggage on Air France?

Yes, Premium cabin passengers get two cabin bags plus one small bag, with the combined weight limit staying at 12 kg.
Business and La Premiere passengers get two cabin bags plus one small bag with a higher combined limit of 18 kg or 40 lb.
On flights departing from the United States, TSA rules limit every passenger to one cabin bag plus one small bag regardless of cabin.

What happens if my bag is overweight or oversized on Air France?

Bags over 23 kg in Economy or Premium, and over 32 kg or 70.5 lb in Business or La Premiere, need an Overweight Baggage option paid at the airport, and no bag over 32 kg is accepted at all.
Bags between 158 cm and 300 cm linear need an Oversized Baggage option paid at the airport, and anything beyond 300 cm must go through Air France Cargo.
Extra bags can be bought online up to 24 hours before departure at a discounted rate, except on flights to or from the USA and Canada where the price is the same online and at the airport.
