My Economy Comfort ticket from Venice to Frankfurt already had one 23 kg bag included, and I added a second bag online for EUR 65. At the airport it would have been EUR 90. Each extra bag gets the same 23 kg and 158 cm limits as a standard checked bag, and booking early online is always the cheapest way.

They actually weighed my carry-on at Florence check-in - 9.2 kg on the scale, over the 8 kg limit, so I had to repack on the spot. The good news: Air Dolomiti now lets you check hand luggage into the hold free of charge, even on Economy Light, so the oversized roller went in the hold at no cost.
Security at Venice strictly enforces the 100 ml liquid rule - my 150 ml sunscreen got taken even though it was half empty. Everything has to be in containers of 100 ml or less inside one transparent 1-liter bag. Pack big bottles in your checked luggage or buy after security.
