Flew Paris Orly to Ajaccio on an ATR72. Cabin bins are tiny so they collect all roll bags at the door and put them in the hold. Got mine back right at the aircraft steps after landing, no fee even though it was 8.5kg.
Booked Light fare and added a 23kg checked bag at the airport for the Bastia flight. Cost me €70 at the counter. Definitely cheaper to add it online beforehand if you know you need luggage.
